The Media Center of the National Authority for Food Safety issued its fourth weekly report for 2026, covering the period from January 24 to January 30, focusing on the performance of the food export system and the regulatory and facilitation efforts, in support of the competitiveness of Egyptian products in foreign markets. The report revealed the export of about 5,560 food shipments with a total of 210,000 tons, from 530 companies, which included about 740 types of food products. Saudi Arabia topped the list of receiving countries, alongside Russia, Lebanon, Sudan, and the Netherlands, among 180 countries that imported Egyptian food products during the week.
