On November 11, from 1:30 PM to 4:00 PM, a lecture on the topic "Innovations: Improving Productivity, Health, and Welfare in Calf Rearing" will be held in the large hall "Academician Mako Dakov" at the University of Forestry in Sofia. The lecturer will be Associate Professor Dr. Barbara Padalino, DVM, from the Department of Agricultural and Food Sciences at the University of Bologna. Dr. Padalino graduated in veterinary medicine from the University of Bari, Italy, in 2002. In 2017, she defended her doctoral dissertation at the University of Sydney, Australia. She has worked as a zootechnics researcher at the Department of Veterinary Medicine of the University of Bari, at the College of Veterinary Medicine of City University, and at Cornell University (Hong Kong).
