In 2020, Manchego cheese exports saw a 4.6% increase, with over 11.7 million kilograms sold abroad compared to 11.2 million in 2019. Nearly 70% of the total production was exported, a rise from the previous year's 67.3%. The production growth was 1.7%, reaching 16.9 million kilograms in 2020. The United States was the top consumer, accounting for nearly half of all foreign sales, followed by Germany and the United Kingdom.
