Exports of Mexican beer and tequila have surpassed pre-pandemic levels, with beer continuing to be the country's primary food export and tequila experiencing significant growth. From January to October 2022, beer exports totaled $5,540 million, up from $4,858 million in 2019, while tequila exports reached $3,635 million, a 34% increase compared to the same period last year. Together, beer and tequila exports amounted to $8,689 million, which is one fifth of the total agri-food sector exports during the same period.
