France downgrades export forecast for soft wheat and raises for barley

The state agency FranceAgriMer confirmed the previously published forecast for the export of soft wheat from France outside the European Union in the 2022/23 season and slightly lowered the forecast for exports to other EU countries. This is reported by the Grain On-Line agency. It is expected that 6.5 million tons of wheat will be delivered to the EU countries (-19% compared to the last season), to other countries - 10.5 million tons (+19%). FranceAgriMer points to strong demand for French wheat from Morocco.
