French pork exports experienced a decline in 2022, dropping by 9.3% to 656,000 tec, along with 156,000 tec of offal. Despite this decrease, the trade balance remained positive with an increase in imports, particularly cold cuts, by 7.9% to 655,000 tec, plus 77,000 tec of offal. The self-sufficiency rate also saw a decrease from 106.2% in 2021 to 100.5% in 2022.
