The French federation FNEC wants higher milk prices for goat farmers

Production costs have risen sharply and are not expected to decrease in the short term, the organization says. Between November 2020 and October 2021, goat farmers received an average price of 76.20 euros per 100 kilograms of milk. That price must be increased by at least 6 euros per 100 kilos, according to FNEC. FNEC states that dairy goat farmers need a minimum price of 84 euros per 100 kilos of milk to be reimbursed for their cost price.
