FranceAgriMer has revised its forecast for French wheat exports outside the EU, projecting a 17% increase to 10.30 million tonnes for the July-June 2022/23 farming season, with Morocco and China being significant contributors. Despite a decrease in intra-EU trade and feed consumption, wheat stocks are expected to remain stable. The agency also made slight adjustments to its forecasts for feed use of barley and maize, noting a decrease in feed use for barley due to reduced demand from the livestock sector and an increase in maize closing stocks due to a revision in import forecasts.
