Between January and September 2024, Peruvian exports by air totaled 64,306 tons, an increase of 2.8% from the previous year, with the majority of exports coming from the agro-industrial sector. Notable exports include fresh asparagus, fresh mangoes, and fresh blueberries. Despite a decrease in asparagus exports, there was a significant increase in blueberry exports. The total value of these exports was US$ 367 million, a 25.6% increase from the previous year, with fresh blueberries being the highest contributing factor. In September alone, exports by air reached 9,363 tons, a 32.6% increase from September 2023, with fresh blueberries and asparagus being the main exports.
