The succession of storms has caused serious damage to agricultural operations in various parts of the province of Huelva, causing a 50% drop in exports. The Association of Producers and Exporters of Huelva Strawberries, Freshuelva, is currently collecting and analyzing data to quantify the extent of the damage caused by the series of storms that have affected the province of Huelva over the past few weeks and which are having a very significant impact on the development of the current campaign of red fruits. The intense and persistent rains, accompanied in some episodes by strong gusts of wind and adverse phenomena, have caused damage to agricultural operations in different parts of the province, affecting both the plantations and the productive and handling infrastructures.
