Corn exports from Mato Grosso registered a decline in the first months of the 2025/26 season. According to a bulletin from the Mato Grosso Institute of Agricultural Economics (IMEA), the state shipped 13.38 million tons between July and October—a volume 15.71% lower than that recorded in the same period last year. As a result, Mato Grosso's share of national exports fell by 13.43 percentage points.
