The province of Santa Fe and the rice producers of San Javier have begun to take a new step in the valorization of the genetic material developed in Santa Fe territory. In the framework of a meeting held in that locality, progress was made in launching the multiplication phase of the Aldebarán seed, a variety that emerged from the technical and scientific work of the San Javier Experimental Center. The meeting took place within the scope of the Provincial Rice Table and marked a turning point in a process that has involved more than a year of joint work between the provincial State and the producers.
