Inter-agency delegation visited centers of excellence in the Netherlands and Ireland to strengthen the innovation and sustainability of the dairy sector

With the support of the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), a delegation led by the National Institute of Agricultural Research (INIA) made a technical tour of the Netherlands and Ireland with the purpose of learning about successful experiences in agricultural innovation, public-private articulation, and the development of sustainable production systems. The group was made up of representatives from Uruguay Innova (ANII), the National Milk Institute (INALE), the National Association of Milk Producers (ANPL), the Florida Milk Producers Society (SPLF), the Technological University (UTEC), the Dairy Network, the National Institute of Agricultural Research of Ecuador (INIAP), and the company Conaprole. In the Netherlands, the delegation visited the University of Wageningen (WUR), one of the most renowned institutions globally in agricultural, food, and environmental research.
