Andalusia reached a new record for fruit and vegetable exports in the first nine months of 2022, with 5,135 million euros, its all-time high in January-September since records exist (1995), thanks to a growth of 10.8% compared to the same period of 2021. The community reinforces its leadership in fruit and vegetable exports from Spain, with two out of every five euros (42%) of national sales, which reached 12,339 million euros, well ahead of the Valencian Community (21.9%) and the Region of Murcia (18.8%), according to Extenda data. The province of Almería, between January and September 2022, accounted for 51% of total Andalusian exports, with a new historical record to reach 2,639 million euros, which also represents 21.4% of the national total.
