The Ñuble Region continues to consolidate its fruit-growing momentum with the progress of the "Sustainable and climate change-resilient fruit farming" project, an initiative executed by the Agricultural Research Institute, INIA Quilamapu, and financed by the Regional Government. The program aims to diversify the productive matrix through the introduction of macadamia, pistachio, and calafate, as well as to strengthen the development of brown chestnut in the foothills and papaya in the coastal area.
