Future farmers at the olive harvest

Under the project conducted by the Edremit District Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry, which aims to increase agricultural awareness, students from Akçay Yunus Emre Primary School witnessed the fruitful journey of the olive. The olive harvest event, organized within the framework of the "4th Agricultural Production and Creating Awareness of Farm-to-Table Food Reliability" Project, was hosted by Ferhatoğlu Olive Oil Factory. Edremit District Governor Ahmet Odabaş participated in the event with the students of Akçay Yunus Emre Primary School, harvesting olives in the olive grove. The students enjoyed themselves while also gaining knowledge about agricultural production by experiencing the process of picking olives from the branches.
