Gang Seong-min, the chairman of Seojin Do-Nong Cooperative, received the top award in the agricultural sector at the "2025 Republic of Korea Agricultural Awards" held on the 5th at the Suwon Special City Farmers' Hall in Gyeonggi Province. The Republic of Korea Agricultural Awards, which boasts the highest authority in the agricultural field, is hosted by the Korea Rural Leaders Central Federation and is awarded annually to individuals who have contributed to the development of agriculture and rural areas and the improvement of farmers' rights. The award recipients are determined through a two-stage review process, including an initial document review and a final review by the awards committee, across five categories: national agricultural policy, local agricultural policy, rural development, farmers, and agricultural industry. Chairman Gang Seong-min has been at the forefront of promoting farmers' actual benefits and contributing to the local community, as well as representing Jindo's signature agricultural products.
