REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- The Indonesian Palm Oil Association (Gapki) stated that the performance of the palm oil industry during 2025 shows acceleration compared to the previous year. Chairman of GAPKI Eddy Martono said that as of September 2025, palm oil (CPO) production reached more than 43 million tons, or 11 percent higher compared to the previous year. Meanwhile, on the export side, including CPO and its derivatives, oleochemicals, and biodiesel, he added, reached more than 25 million tons or an increase of 13.4 percent from the previous year. These exports, according to him, contributed foreign exchange of 27.3 billion US dollars or 40 percent higher than the previous year. While domestically, domestic consumption was at 18.5 million tons compared to 17.6 million tons the previous year.
