Spain's exports of garlic and oranges outside of Europe exceeded 30,000 tons in the first ten months of 2023, followed closely by pears and apples. There was a significant decline in fruit and vegetable exports to non-European countries in the same period, totaling 262,074 tons, with a 28% decrease compared to 2022. Across all fruits and vegetables, there was a notable decline in exports in 2023, with garlic exports falling by 10%, orange exports falling by 54%, pear prices falling by 38%, and apple prices falling by 21%.
