The General Administration of Customs of China and the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Resources of Serbia have established rules for importing fresh blueberries from Serbia. The regulations require that the blueberries must be grown in approved areas, and the packaging plants and cold treatment facilities must be registered and approved. The article outlines the quarantine pests of concern to China, the pre-export management requirements, including orchard management, packaging plant management, packaging requirements, and quarantine treatment requirements. It also details the entry inspection and quarantine procedures, and the actions to be taken for unqualified goods. The article aims to ensure the import of blueberries complies with the plant quarantine and food safety standards of China.
