Gibran Supports Perhutani Coffee PMO in Bondowoso
The government is committed to improving agricultural sector productivity.

Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka appreciated the initiative of the Ministry of State-Owned Enterprises in forming the Coffee and Cocoa Nusantara Project Management Office (PMO). This was conveyed by Gibran during a visit to the Ijen Kalisat Coffee Plantation area in Bondowoso, East Java, on Tuesday (24/6/2025). Gibran stated that the government is committed to increasing the productivity of the domestic agricultural and plantation sectors, while also promoting the welfare of farmers, especially coffee farmers. "Indonesia is the fourth largest coffee producer in the world, including from East Java. It's extraordinary. Therefore, coffee quality must be maintained and quantity must be sufficient. We must follow international standards for coffee branding and bring honor to Indonesia," said Gibran in a written statement in Jakarta on Wednesday (25/6/2025).
