Agricultural entrepreneurs in Gaibandha district, Bangladesh, are increasingly adopting ginger farming in sacks, a method suitable for fallow, abandoned, and cool places under trees or shadows. This innovative approach, which costs only 35 Taka per sack and yields 1 to 1.5 KGs of ginger, has attracted over 20,000 entrepreneurs this year, particularly those without arable land. The Department of Agricultural Extension (DAE) is also offering training to enhance the productivity of this farming method.
