Girolando breed cow takes the top title at the 3rd ExpoLeite

A cow named Fernanda Forbes Olhos D’Água, of the girolando CCG 3/4 breed, won the title of Supreme Cow at the 3rd ExpoLeite, held in Uberaba (MG). The judging took place on the afternoon of this Saturday (18) and had Tatiane Drummond Tetzner, from the Brazilian Zebu Breeders Association (ABCZ) and the Brazilian Gir Leiteiro Breeders Association (ABCGil), as a judge. The animal is owned by breeder Rodrigo Nogueira Ferreira, from Estância Nogueira, in the municipality of Inhaúma, also in Minas Gerais. Fernanda surpassed the Grand Champions of the other categories — girolando CCG 1/4, 1/2 blood, 5/8, gir leiteiro, guzerá leiteiro, and sinjer (sindi x jersey) — and took the main title of the fair, organized by ABCZ with sponsorship from CNA/Faemg/Senar. The achievement crowns a historic week for the breeding farm.
