Global soybean processing reached a record in 2025

According to Oil World (Germany), in September, the volume of global soybean processing increased significantly compared to last year – to 15.4 million tons (+1.1 million tons year-on-year), and the trend is expected to continue in October, especially in the United States, where it is influenced by the favorable processing margin. Overall, in July-September 2025, the figure reached a record 45.9 (+3.4) million tons. Experts believe that a strike in the soybean processing industry in Argentina is possible in the second week of November if an agreement on wages between the SOEA workers' union and the industry organization CIARA is not reached by November 6.
