Since mid-May, the price of glyphosate, the world's most used herbicide, has been recording a gradual increase. In June, the 95% technical powder rose 2.6% compared to early May. This movement is driven by the resumption of Chinese exports to South America, which peak between June and August. Additionally, the expansion of transgenic crop cultivation and the elimination of other herbicides, such as paraquat, reinforce the trend of firm demand, which supports prices.
