Poland: Gooseberry goes to Germany

Gooseberry prices vary quite a bit this season. Fruit can be sold from 0.60 PLN / kg to 1.00 PLN / kg. They are bought by both domestic processing plants and intermediaries who export the fruit to the western border. Even before the season, the most common rates were PLN 0.60 / kg. We can still come across such offers to buy gooseberries for freezing in plastic boxes. It is worth recalling that this is another season with such low purchase prices of the species. At the same time, this season is characterized by a large number of purchase announcements in kisteny with pickup directly from the plantation.
