Government of Bahia expands purchases from family agriculture

The Government of Bahia published, last Thursday (29), the 2nd Centralized Public Call of the National School Feeding Program, with a forecast of allocating R$ 50.2 million for the acquisition of food produced by family farmers from the 27 Territories of Identity of the state. The information was released by the Secretariat of Agriculture, Livestock, Irrigation, Fisheries and Aquaculture of Bahia, which points to the measure as part of the actions aimed at supplying food for the state education network.
