The South Korean Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries has announced a plan to stabilize falling fish prices due to the winter season by releasing 5,000 tons of various fish species, including pollack, mackerel, squid, and cutlassfish, back into the market. This initiative is part of a larger strategy that includes a budget allocation of 15.6 billion won to subsidize marine product purchases in May, as well as special exhibitions and refund events at supermarkets and traditional markets.
