Ghana: Government seeking to establish a cassava processing plant, according to the Finance Minister

The government of Ghana has said its plans to establish a cassava processing plant as part of efforts to facilitate its industrialization agenda. Disclosing this to Parliament on Thursday, July 29, during the presentation of the 2021 mid-year budget review, Ken Ofori-Atta outlined a number of interventions aimed at improving the agriculture value chain.
