Grain from Ukraine: Ukraine delivered 3.85 thousand tons of flour to Syria

Ukraine, as part of the Grain from Ukraine initiative, has delivered another batch of humanitarian aid to Syria – 3.85 thousand tons of flour. This was announced by the Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food Vitaliy Koval. Ukraine, together with the UN World Food Program, delivered 3,850 tons of flour to Syria, which will be distributed among local bakeries. This amount will be enough to feed almost 60 thousand people for six months. Previously, 500 tons of wheat flour were delivered for 33,250 families. The essence of the Grain from Ukraine humanitarian program, which was launched on November 15, 2022, is the direct purchase of agricultural products from Ukrainian producers by the countries participating in the project.
