Grain production in Argentina would grow in the 2024/25 campaign to 131.7 million tons

(NAP) Grain production for the 2024/25 campaign was estimated at 131.7 Mtn, while exports for the same period could total 93.5 Mtn, figures that indicate a growth of 4% and 7%, respectively, compared to the previous campaign. As for prices, during 2024 they showed a general decline compared to the previous year, with falls of up to 31% in some products, although oils experienced increases. But the alarm lights are on, seeing that the projections for 2025 anticipate a scenario of even lower prices, if future prices are taken as a reference, stated the latest report of the year from the Argentine Agroindustrial Council. As a result, exports of the agroindustrial complex would reach USD 44,820 million during 2025, which represents a decrease of USD 710 million compared to the previous year.
