The Argentine Agroindustrial Council forecasts a 4% increase in grain production and a 7% increase in exports for the 2024/25 campaign compared to the previous campaign. However, prices for several products have seen notable declines due to record harvests in Brazil and good production levels in the US, with the exception of soybean and sunflower oil. Future price expectations for 2025 anticipate even lower prices. As a result, agro-industrial exports for 2025 are projected to drop by USD 710 million to USD 44.82 billion, with the cereal and oilseed complex expected to drop by USD 1.390 billion. Meat exports are projected to increase by USD 444 million, reaching USD 3,997 million, and regional economies are projected to experience an increase of USD 236 million, reaching USD 11,152 million.
