More than half of this volume (63.3%) was wheat, represented by feed (41.6%) and food (21.7%) varieties. According to data from the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia, on January 1 of the current year, agricultural producers, processing and procurement enterprises in the Tyumen region had 1,441.54 thousand tons of grains and legumes of the new harvest and carryover stocks from previous years. Of these, feed wheat reserves amounted to 599.60 thousand tons (41.6% of the reserve volume), food wheat - 313.04 thousand tons (21.7%), barley - 201.00 thousand tons (13.9%), rye - 1.10 thousand tons (0.1%). In addition, oilseed crops were stored in warehouses, the largest of which were rapeseed residues - 58.90 thousand tons (76.5% of all oilseeds). Soybeans were stored in the amount of 2.89 thousand tons, rapeseed oil - 0.01 thousand tons.
