The National Association of Cereal Exporters increases forecast for soybean and corn exports from Brazil in November

The National Association of Cereal Exporters (Anec) revised its estimates this Tuesday for shipments of soybeans, corn and soybean meal in November, with upward adjustments to weekly projections. Despite the positive revisions, total grain volumes remain below those recorded in the same period in 2023. For soybeans, the export forecast was raised to 2.80 million tons, an increase of 10 thousand tons compared to the previous week's projection of 2.79 million tons. The volume of grains, however, is 39.1% lower than that exported in November last year, when shipments reached 4.60 million tons. Anec also raised the estimate for corn, which is now expected to reach 5.57 million tons in November, compared to 5.38 million tons predicted last week, which represents an increase of 190 thousand tons.
