The expert also states that the eventual entry into force of this agreement would allow Peruvian agricultural exports to the Indian market to be multiplied by ten, a giant with 1.4 billion inhabitants eager for fresh and healthy food. "Our agro-exports to India are still minimal, but the potential is enormous. The FTA, which could be signed next year, would open the door to reaching between 300 and 500 million dollars in agricultural exports in just five years. It is a historic window that we cannot miss," emphasizes Muñoz. Currently, trade between the two countries is dominated by metals.
