Greece and Spain are the world leaders in table olive exports, accounting for 42% of the global total. In the 2019/2020 harvest season, Spanish exports reached 313,920 tons, valued at 734.9 million euros, while Greek exports amounted to 153,125 tons and 518.9 million euros. Non-EU exports of table olives in the same period reached 297,126 tonnes, valued at € 829.1 million. The unit value of table olive exports outside the EU in June 2021 was 274 euros per 100 kg, with a volume of 29,714.7 tons, mainly to Australia, Canada, the UK, and the US.
