[Agricultural Fisheries and Livestock Newspaper=Reporter Park Yu-sin] The Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs and the Rural Development Administration held a "Green Bio Industrial Microorganism Safety Redundancy Preservation Agreement Ceremony" on the 10th at the Complex Culture Center in the Advanced Industrial Complex in Jeongeup City, North Jeolla Province, with the participation of three institutions: the National Institute of Agricultural Science, the Support Center for the Development of Agricultural and Livestock Microorganism Industries, and the Fermented Microorganism Industry Promotion Institute. This agreement ceremony was held as part of the detailed implementation process of the "Basic Plan for the Preservation, Management, and Utilization of Agricultural Biological Resources for the 4th Agriculture (2024-2028)" established by the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs. The ceremony aimed to prevent the loss of microorganisms, which are key materials in the green bio industry with high industrial value, such as in fermented foods, bio-pesticides and fertilizers, feed additives, and other major agricultural sectors.
