[Korea Farmers' News Agency, reporter Song Hae-chang] On the 20th, Nonsan City in South Chungcheong Province broke ground for the 'Comprehensive Agricultural Science Analysis Center' in Buseok-myeon, Nonsan Agricultural Technology Center. The Comprehensive Agricultural Science Analysis Center, which spans 999 square meters over two floors above ground, is scheduled for completion in September 2026. The first floor will house the Eco-friendly Agriculture Management Room, while the second floor will include the Agricultural Product Safety Analysis Room and office spaces. The center plans to conduct various analyses of agricultural resources such as soil, water quality, heavy metals, livestock manure, and residual pesticides. The city expects benefits such as customized farming guidance through analysis, production of high-quality and safe agricultural products, and enhancement of the reliability of the agricultural product joint brand 'Yukgun Byungjang'. The city annually handles more than 6,000 cases of soil and agricultural resource analyses.
