Born in Corrientes but based in Buenos Aires, the project of two young entrepreneurs rekindles the hope of those producers who dream of seeing raw materials industrialized in Argentina. Through the brand Selenza, agricultural engineer Juan Moro and his partner Joaquín Villafaña Tapia – who had already founded a distillery called Aconcagua – created a novel product for local shelves: a frozen guacamole without preservatives, ready to be consumed in just 10 minutes. This is the first time that an attempt has been made to industrialize this fruit. The genesis of this story is in Mexico, a destination that Juan Moro visited twice thanks to his time at the National University of the Northeast, in Corrientes.
