The country's lettuce cultivation spans across 21 states and places Mexico ninth globally in vegetable production. The United States and Canada were the primary recipients of Mexico's lettuce exports. The vegetable is known for its rich nutritional content, including vitamins A, E, C, as well as calcium, magnesium, and potassium.
