Mr. Pham Van Huong from Thanh Hoa province, Vietnam, has found success in raising guinea fowl after previous setbacks in livestock farming. Starting with nearly 300 birds, he achieved a 97% survival rate and quick growth, making it a profitable venture. Expanding to a 5,000m2 farm under fruit trees, he imported 1,000 birds and plans to expand further in 2024. The guinea fowl's resilience, efficiency, and market demand have attracted other households in Ngoc Lac town to try the venture, though systematically and without widespread consumer reach. The town government is supporting and guiding farmers to improve farming practices and meet VietGAP standards for quality assurance.
