Gunsan City in North Jeolla Province, South Korea has exported 360 tons of Shindongjin rice to Mongolia for the first time. The rice, produced in Daeya-myeon, will be divided into four shipments and sent to Mongolia under the 'Shindongjin all year round' brand. This export is expected to assist farmers dealing with oversupply and overstock. The Daeya Agricultural Cooperative will manage the production and export of the high-quality rice, with plans to expand production.
