Gyeongbuk Province is joining forces with a filler specialist company to develop next-generation filler materials by adding biotechnology to its 4,000-year-old sericulture industry. The Gyeongbuk Sericulture and Insect Industry Center recently signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Philcocospharm Co., Ltd., a filler specialist company, for the 'development of silk protein-based fillers.' Philcocospharm is a company specializing in fillers, functional cosmetics, and medical bio-materials, consistently launching new products in domestic and international beauty and medical markets.
