ASAJA Castilla-La Mancha has communicated to the regional Administration the situation that numerous farmers are going through due to the adverse weather conditions recorded during the current campaign, urgently requesting the flexibility of various key administrative deadlines for the sector. On the one hand, the agricultural organization has requested from the General Directorate of Agriculture and Livestock an extension of at least one month in the deadline for reporting the start of vineyard cultivation. They argue that the intense and persistent rains have prevented many viticulturalists from accessing their plots and carrying out these works on time, due to the poor condition of the terrain and the impossibility of using agricultural machinery.
