Haenam County (County Mayor Myeong Myeong-gwan) will host the '4th Agri-Food Climate Change Response Forum' on October 10 at the Usuyeong Udolsoori Hotel, with the theme 'Smart Agriculture Development Strategy for Climate Crisis Response.' Jointly organized by the Korea Agri-Food & Life Sciences Association, Seoul National University, the forum will commence with a keynote lecture by Shim Kyo-moon, Director of the Agricultural Meteorology Research Division at the National Institute of Agricultural Sciences, titled 'Customized Weather Disaster Early Warning System for Climate Crisis Response Farms.' This will be followed by presentations including 'Crop Model-Based Digital Transformation for Climate Change Response' by Professor Kim Kwang-su (Director of the National Agrometeorological Center) at Seoul National University, 'Development Directions of Nature Positive and Smart Agriculture' by Lee Seung-heon, Director of the Rural Research Institute at the Korea Rural Community Corporation, and 'Future Strategy Division of Kyungnoh Co., Ltd.' by Hwang Kyu-seung.
