Use of halal meat and prohibition of alcohol sales. This is the new strategy of the hamburger chain, Five Guys, which has announced this radical change in six of its thirty restaurants in France. Since mid-October, in order to "offer its hamburgers and fries to the widest possible audience," the meat is halal and alcohol, totally prohibited in Islam, is no longer sold. According to the list published by the American chain on its website, six restaurants are affected by this change: those in Lyon Part-Dieu (Rhône), Rosny-sous-Bois (Seine-Saint-Denis), Créteil (Val-de-Marne), Marseille (Bouches-du-Rhône), Lille (Nord), and the one on Boulevard de Clichy in Paris.
