Harvesting progress in the Ryazan region - in numbers

A complex of field work continues in the Ryazan region. As of September 24, 2020, potatoes have been harvested from 39% of the area in agricultural enterprises and farms, 42 thousand tons of root crops have been dug up. Open field vegetables - from 26% of the area, 3.3 thousand tons of cabbage, carrots, beets, zucchini and salads were harvested. Mustard was harvested from 76% of the area, 1.2 thousand tons of oilseeds were obtained. Rapeseed - 88% and 108 thousand tons. Soy - 29% of the area, 25 thousand tons of soybeans were obtained. Sugar beets were also harvested by 29%; 65 thousand tons of sweet root crops were obtained. Grain crops are threshed on 99.5% of the area (excluding corn for grain). 2 million 740 thousand tons of grain were threshed with an average yield of 42.6 centners per hectare, which is 9.2 centners per hectare more than on the same date in 2019.
