DÜZCE (İHA) – In the first half of the year, 16,350 tons of domestic hazelnuts were exported from Düzce to European Union (EU) countries over eleven months.

Turkey, which holds a significant portion of the global hazelnut market, continues to export hazelnuts to many countries around the world, primarily to European Union countries. Hazelnuts are produced by numerous families in Düzce, as in the Black Sea Region, and serve as a source of livelihood. The Düzce Provincial Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry announced the 11-month data on hazelnuts, which hold an important place in exports.
