The Brazilian corn market registered an appreciation on B3 in October, with the sack reaching an average of R$ 67.27. According to information released by the Mato Grosso Institute of Agricultural Economics (IMEA), the increase was driven by a combination of internal and external factors, including the firmness of demand and the good performance of exports. Brazilian corn shipments to Iran and Egypt from January to September 2025 totaled 9.10 million tons, equivalent to 39.04% of the total volume exported in the period. According to IMEA, these markets have proven to be strategic for the outflow of Brazilian production. Despite the recent recovery, the average price of corn on B3 remains 3.79% below the level recorded in October 2024.
