The Moroccan newspaper "Al-Ahadath Al-Maghribiya" reported in its edition of Thursday, April 23, 2026, that El-Karouji confirmed that the agency issued and delivered a total of 4147 new licenses during the year 2025, raising the total number of active licenses to 5765 during the 2025 season. The same source added that the distributed licenses included 5492 licenses for agricultural activity, which is 99 percent of the licenses for the benefit of 5318 farmers, alongside 273 licenses for conversion, marketing, export activities, seed import, and transportation for the benefit of 183 actors. The same spokesperson indicated that the license issuance process remains legally conditional on the conclusion of formal advance purchase contracts with the licensed producers, which specify the purchase price and payment method, adding that the total harvested area during the year 2025 reached 3141 hectares by 4776 farmers, of which 2622 hectares were allocated to the local variety "municipal" ...
