According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MRE), the Saudi authorities sent a diplomatic note to the Embassy of Brazil in Riyadh, capital of the country, last Sunday (9/5) pointing out that “products exported by the companies involved would have exceeded limits and microbiological standards established in Technical Regulation No. GSO 1016/2015 ". The document, however, does not specify what was identified, what type of test was carried out or on which cargoes shipped to the country the problems were found.
